Visualization Piano Concerto No.3 S. Rachmaninoff
By translating musical notation into color, I developed a unique chromatic system. Each note corresponds to a specific color: A is red, B yellow, C blue, D orange, E green, F brown, G purple, and the higher A a deeper red. Following the sequence of notes, I arranged colored fields accordingly. To distinguish the orchestration from the piano part, the colors were slightly adjusted, lowered by one tone in saturation. The duration of each note is represented by the proportional size of the colored rectangle: whole, half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes differ in height and length. Together, these elements form a consistent visual language that parallels the musical structure.
